Adventures with AJAX

Netscape, like most web 2.0 sites, use AJAX extensively but what Netscape doesn’t do is stop anyone from accessing the data. I’m not into finding ways to maliciously attack sites but I do love playing with data. I’ve set up a page that recreates the Netscape Tracker using their AJAX code. Netscape uses JSON as a way to parse their data (so technically they use AJAJ) but browsing their Javascript code you can find some interesting stuff. I did learn that Netscape tracks what site referred you but I could’ve also just check my cookies to see this (s_p_s_prop14). I’m curious as to what else can be done with their services and if a web API couldn’t be set up.
